We love these containers. We'd been slowing getting rid of our old plastic food containers. The plastic containers stain easily, and from what we're learning can leach chemicals into your food, just not the type of things we want. We've really like the glass containers because they won't stain like the plastic containers. These containers also won't leach harmful chemicals like the full-plastic containers can. These are stackable with the lids on (I wouldn't go too high though), and can nest inside each other for storage which is another plus. The glass is thick, which is nice giving the containers a very sturdy feel to them. These do it all! I also wanted nesting containers because I simply don't have the space for setting each container out individually. I bought two sets of these, and I nest all but the two smallest containers together. The lids stack wonderfully, and I love it that all but the smallest size containers use the same size lid. This way, if I ever lose or damage a lid, the container can be used with one of the other lids. How often do you use every container at the same time? I have a set of these, and I am a big fan of the glass storage sets, preferring them over plastic. This set contains 1 small bowl with a small lid, and 3 medium-sized bowls (of varying cups sizes) with medium lids.What I find good and not so good about this set: On the upside - * square design is more efficient for storage in cabinets & refrig * containers stack, with small one nesting in any of the other three bowls * three containers share the same lid size * glass containers are better for your health when you heat items * closed bowls nicely & securely stack on top of each other in the frig On the downside - * a bit expensive, over 5 bucks per container & lid when purchased in a set * worried about the lid's gasket and how it will hold up over time * the lids are large & bulky and don't nest or stack very well by themselves * to make this set work for a household of 2 or more people, you'll...
