Reviews are spot on. They are strong, and dont stain. I returned from Iraq without the use of my right arm, and can get in and out of them, and seal them airtight with one hand. I've found they work best when the items are put in as dry as possible, so dry them thoroughly and dry off the condensed moisture that accumulates periodically. Strawberries keep for 2 to 3 weeks as fresh as on the day they were bought. Grapes and cherry tomatoes also keep well for 2 to 3 weeks. Lettuce also keeps much longer, as long as you can get it dried; if it isn't dry, it still turns mushy, but it takes longer than if it were just in a plastic bag. I've dropped them and not only don't they break - they don't pop open when they hit the floor.
