Stack-On's GCB-908 8-Gun Steel Security Cabinet is a California approved firearms safety device that meets the requirements of California Penal Code Section 12088 and the regulations issued thereunder. This cabinet has a 3-Point locking system with key coded, double bitted lock for greater security. Stack-On's cabinet holds 8 rifles or shotguns up to 52-Inch tall. It has a removable shelf that is included. The shelf is positioned in the front of the cabinet so longer guns can be stored along the back wall of the cabinet. (There is a gap between the back of the shelf and the back wall of the cabinet). This steel cabinet also has a foam padded bottom.

It arrived with a large dent in the side (don't expect the packaging to protect it, so if this is a problem for you make sure you are on hand to receive it and inspect it before the delivery driver leaves). The top latch tends top jam in the open position so manipulating it by hand is sometimes necessary to get the door to lock. Otherwise it does what it needs to do by keeping my guns locked up and out of reach. This one fits the bill and the price is great. It arrived quickly with the two day Amazon Prime shipping. There was no damage to the shipping box or contents. The Cabinet is solidly made, and the door latches securely with a single key lock. It's no safe, but you're not breaking in without power tools.
