Product Description
Illuminate the inside of your safe or security cabinet with this battery operated LED light. There are 3 light heads – each with 4 LED lights, that pivot independently for directional lighting. There is a manual on/off switch with 2 levels of brightness. This is a battery operated light with no wiring needed. It is easy to install with mounting plate or hook & eye tape (both are included). The lights can turn on automatically when the safe or cabinet door is opened when using the optional motion detection setting. Great for any safe or security cabinet you have!

Mine is a Stack On 14-Gun Fire-Resistant Model (combo lock, reviewed elsewhere). This light needs six AAA batteries, that are NOT included. You get three rotating light (4 lights each), that can either be manually operated, or on an electric eye - with a 30-60 second duration, before it shuts off. And in two brightnesses. It included velcro mounting, or set screw mounting, depending on what you need to mount it on. A caution - the screws provided are totally inadequate, so I used a larger set I had laying around. Puts out a decent amount of light, that can be directed to some extent, in the darker recesses of your safe. I was curious if it actually did shut-off automatically after the 60 second delay until it senses motion again as it advertises. So I set a camera in the safe to record for 15 minutes to test it, and was quite disappointed with the results considering the motion sensor was the primary reason I purchased these units for the convenience.CONS: The light will shut off after the delay....BUT, then it turns right back on again and runs the cycle over again. It never actually stays turned off (I tested all 3 lights individually, each behaved the same.) This alone made me wish I had just taken the none lazy route and rigged up some proper lighting to begin with. With that in mind, I wasn't about to just keep pumping batteries into them, so the motion sensor function is absolutely worthless. Count on manually turning each on/off individually every time.
